1, 2, 4, 5… faces!
1, 2, 4, 5… faces wants to be a way to push the viewer towards a deeper comprehension of what is behind migration, especially behind migration of people coming to Europe from the African continent and the near Middle East. Messages sent to us by mass media, underline a great difference between us the European People and “the others”. Palermo can be seen as a good example to follow: a city that was born from the mixing of autochthonous people with many different people over the centuries. This photographic project is thus a metaphor in which the particular sign on each face, changing in every portrait, becomes the sign of a cultural exchange that enriches everyone revealing to be an added value to one’s personality.
